This two piece silk ensemble is from Balmain and was made in the 1970's, The set is in a Thai silk and includes a button front blouse and a pleated skirt. The gorgeous print is a multi colored floral horizontal pattern in various shades of green, red, white and pink.

Balmain had dresses like these made in Thailand from Thai silk during the 70's and 80's. The person who originally owned this turned the blouse into a "jacket" by having the top professionally hemmed and pockets added. You can still tuck it in if you prefer, but we are showing it on the outside of the skirt.

Excellent Condition with some minor spots on the lining only near the waist.
